- Factual Media is a screened publishing desk for local news, creator outlets, and any other beat. You keep the brand. We provide intake, screening, optional AI, and a human publish step. It is not a press wire and not WordPress-only software.
- Is this a CMS like WordPress, Ghost, Newspack, or Indiegraf?
- Those tools give you a site you staff yourself. Factual Media is a newsroom desk on your outlet: Classic (no AI), Assist, or Gather autopilot. You still approve every story.
- Can I run a digital newspaper or local media outlet on it?
- Yes. Town news, sports, culture, markets — any category. Managed (we staff) or licensed (your staff). Same evidence bar.
- Do I have to use AI?
- No. Classic newsrooms write and publish in the News Desk with AI off. Assist is optional per story. Gather is a planned paid add-on (in development) if you want the queue filled for you.
- How much does a publishing desk cost?
- Pilot is free for 10 lifetime publishes. Creator is $49/mo. Ship is $149/mo. Gather autopilot (in development) is +$49 on Creator or +$79 on Ship, and included on Pro when live.
