Mature content policy
Version: 1.1 Applies to: Mature-audience outlets and NSFW / restricted stories on Factual Media.
Who this is for
Some syndicated outlets and stories publish mature content (including lifestyle photography, nudity, and adult-oriented editorial). That material is welcome on Factual Media’s 18+ gated rails. It is not mixed into open editorial surfaces (such as PulseWire) as town-square news.
You must confirm you are 18 or older and that you understand this policy before viewing mature surfaces.
What you will see
- Nudity and mature imagery involving consenting adults
- Adult-oriented editorial and photography
- Other restricted categories we flag the same way (for example graphic material, if an outlet is approved for it)

What we never allow
These are blocked regardless of age gate or outlet type:
- Sexual content involving minors (anyone under 18), including AI-generated depictions
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) and exploitation
- Non-consensual intimate imagery
- Real abuse content we classify as illegal or beyond our editorial bar
Uploads are screened with Sightengine (minors / gore / extreme violence blocked; mature imagery allowed on NSFW rails). Editors also attest that media contains no minors and no illegal sexual content.

Open editorial surfaces
PulseWire and other open editorial surfaces remain safe-default. Mature outlet stories are not listed there like general news. Mature material lives on 18+ outlets and NSFW/restricted articles, behind this gate.
